Book of The Week: An Abundance of Katherines

  One of John Green's amazing young-adult books, which I loved reading, An Abundance of Katherines. It was just so funny and hilarious in every bit of it, I just couldn't stop reading without laughing, I found it so entertaining, incredible and unpredictable. 

  The ending was my favorite part of it, because it was different from any other chapter, it wasn't a 'Katherine' chapter, it was a 'Lindsey Lee Wells' chapter, that's what made it unique, but the fact that the 'Lindsey Lee Wells' chapter was my favourite part doesn't mean I only loved that one, I loved the whole book , and how it all twisted on the last chapter. 

  I liked the technique John Green has used in this book, as the main character -Colin- knew 11 different languages-some of them are Arabic, French, German, English..-, Mr. Green used words from these language which makes it even more interesting, and because Colin was a 'child prodigy' he added mathematics schema, which made it fun and if the reader couldn't understand Colin, the schema sure do will help.

  Also adding Hassan, Colin's best friend, who was a 180 degrees different from Colin, but still Hassan was always there for Colin, his personality -which was very conflicted, made him funny as he was, and especially the love Hassan had for Judge Judy was unbelievable.

  An Abundance of Katherines is not a love story, it's drama-after-love story which lead Colin to an unpredictable end of the road he was riding, and it was a fine and confident end. It's nerdy, but cool, adventurous, exciting, and reckless, but wise.

Way in The World

As a student in highschool, it matters to start deciding the right decision from now on when it comes to university, because it's the first step of becoming responsible in the real world, and I know that we, teenagers, don't realize how hard life can be, and for that we need to make our own way to 'Success'.

People always seek for success, but they end up failing because of (A) their definition of what success is. and (B) because they think that success pops up like this, and with wrong starter there comes the failure, still failing isn't bad, because a person can learn from their own mistakes, so don't get it all wrong.

When it comes to the right definition of success, it is achieving what you are aiming to, not making money, nor becoming famous, these all are only parts of being successful, but how to make the right steps of becoming successful? Well, here's my own ideas, which I use, and it helped me a lot to walk on the right path :)

First, get to know yourself better, know what are your likes and dislikes, what are your abilities-knowing these things will help you see the perfect section for you.

Second, don't accept the word 'hard', just putting that idea to your mind will screw things up, because it will devastate you, then you will end up with ashes of your hard work, and for making your work grow instead of falling apart, be positive.

Third, take a look at yourself in the future, imagine yourself what do you want to be, what do you want to do, and how you do it. That image will motivate you to start your dream.

Fourth, always look up to successful people, and people who inspire you. Read their biographies, and learn how they did start their careers, it can help you to walk on the same path they did.

Fifth, always read books and try to learn new things in order to improve your skills and knowledge.

And finally, always be passionate for what you are doing , work hard, and never say "I give up". The road to success is not easy, and it has lots of ups and downs, but never give up or think that you were not meant to succeed. Find joy in your work, stay positive and be confident with yourself.

Book of The Week: The Hunger Games trilogy

The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mokingjay, the EPIC series of novels by the incredible Suzanne Collins. My favorite series so far, talking about a true cause in the lands of Panem, where The Hunger Games set on for the sake of entertainment of the rich who live in the Capitol, watching the poor ones from the Districts 1 to 12 fighting and killing wildly in the arena for the sake of surviving.

But, getting deep in the story, it talks about Katniss Everdeen, the girl who struggles through poverty, living with fear to protect her family, hunting in the woods,looking for food to shut their starvation. and then, when Primrose Everdeen's -Katniss's little sister- name comes out of the bowl, her life changes when that nightmare continued to it's highest level, they just didn't live starving, but she was chosen to play in the games, and all Katniss had to do was to not let her sister be part of the wilderness, so she volunteered, and so her journey starts. 

  When Katniss and Peeta were about to win the games, and there was nobody left but them, they had to challenge snow, Katniss wasn't in love with Peeta, but her sense of humanity couldn't let her take him down, when they were about to commit suicide, the Capitol stopped them, and there the rebellion of Panem started.

  Catching Fire, talks about the Capitol's strike as a response of what Katniss and Peeta started, while Mokingjay talks a bout the real epic battle. 

The Hunger Games is surely the best story for the rebellious souls and the ones who sake for such exciting battle.
